My grandfather died yesterday, on my husband's birthday, just days shy of meeting his first great grandchild. This is not the outcome we had been hoping, praying and longing for. He put up a good fight and I really thought he was going to make it which is making this all the more devastating. He was so excited about this baby. We are so so sad.
