Weekend

While Daddy was duck hunting in Mississippi this weekend, Mommy took a much needed little getaway to Saint Simon's with Aunt Caroline.

Friday night dinner at Crabdaddy's with Kristian's mom, Miss Ingrid

After dinner, we met up with Little Andy and Tyler at Ziggy's.

I think it is safe to say this was the first time I had on a cardigan at Ziggy's but probably not the last! HA!

Saturday was spent eating, drinking and shopping. Forget Tibi...

This is where you would have found me! This Momma loves Bailey Boys for her baby girl!

Saturday night the Knox family skipped their previously planned activities

and had dinner with us! We hit up Crabdaddy's, again. We just couldn't get enough!

Waking up to this

and spending the weekend with best friends is good for the soul.

And they're off!

The crib bumpers are off and on a trip to the attic!

FB all of a sudden is much more active at night, rolling, laying on her sides, and nuzzling up against the bumpers. It was keeping us up since we can see it on the video monitor so we took them off in the middle of the night last night.

Now I need to buy a breathable bumper so she doesn't loose a limb!

Success!

Fannie Bradley and I hosted playgroup at our house today.

Someone passed out before her little friends even left the house!

Unfortunately, this is the only picture I took.

Fun at the Grands

Fannie Bradley spent a couple of mornings at her Grandmommy and Papa Joe's house this week, well every week, so Mommy can do some real estate work!

Daddy drops her off on his way to work. She wears her pj's over there and gets dressed for the day after breakfast.

Look at those teeth!

Close-up

FB has so much fun, is spoiled rotten and Grandmommy is so good to takes pics to document their time together.

Thank you Grandmommy and Papa Joe!

Thoughts on Fannie Bradley's Eighth Month

starting to look more like a little girl than a baby! sob sob

nicknames: The Boss, Boobsie

favorite body part: wrists, looks like she is wearing rubber bands!

tooth count: 2

foods: we have been through every Earth's Best Stage 2, she likes them all (even the meats) and is a great eater! Started puffs and yogurt melts. Had some apple juice too, trying to loosen her stools. TMI.

definitely starting to go through some separation anxiety

scratching her fingers over all surfaces

making a loud clicking/kissing/smacking noise

she is a busy body and a wiggle worm! always moving.

ITCHING everything. You might ask, what does itching mean? Itch was the name of a pillow that John originally had and that was passed to Aunt Courtney when they were growing up. After much wear and tear, it started coming apart at the seams and little strands of threads would be hanging off. Courtney would take those little strands of thread and rub them between her fingers = itching. So, now FB is itching anything and everything. The little threads hanging off any toys, burp cloths, dolls, our clothes, her clothes, etc.

still loves taggies

keeps practicing with her sippy cup. she takes it to her mouth but really just chews on it! I did demonstrate how to swallow and she did it right after me, once.

motorboating, had stopped for several weeks but is now back in full effect

when facing the big mirror in our living room, she loves looking at all of the pictures in silver frames and kicks her legs and waves her arms uncontrollably! so funny!

We'll Miss You, Uncle Kristian!

Last night we ate dinner with Aunt Caroline and Uncle Kristian at the family favorite, Ribs Etc.

Kristian leaves on the 24th to head to Boot Camp for the Navy Reserves!

So we knew FB liked beer bottles, but Fannie "Fast Fingers" Hinson took it to a new level by going for the beer pitcher! Or it could have been Daddy "Slotho" Hinson's fault too!

Getting her first taste of BBQ sauce!

We were at dinner so long, FB ended up needing a bottle and a nap

and a diaper change!

Such a big girl

Getting kisses from Daddy, her favorite person!

Do you think it is time to go?

Seeing as how it was Sunday morning at this point, yes!

Thank you so much Kristian! We are so proud of you already!

We will miss you and promise to take care of Caroline.

See you in a few months!
