13 years

We leave today for Georgia~Florida. Our 13th GA~FL game in a row. My 1st game this season (can't believe I just admitted that outloud, I do have 3 solid excuses for not attending the home games). Our 8th GA~FL game together. Our 1st as parents. And the 1st time both of us have been away from FB at the same time. She is about to be in GRANDMOTHER overload.

I always said I wanted to do 10 GA~FL games in a row before I considered not attending. Well, I am at 13 so I think I will try for 15, then might as well go for 20. We'll keep it at 15 for now.

All the way from Africa...

Well, not really but kinda sorta. Evidently Fannie's Grandfather Joe was really on top of things before he left for Africa because he dropped a Halloween card in the mail for his favorite Granddaughter! We let her open it tonight.

Thanks Papa Joe! We can't wait to see you in a few days!

Fannie Bradley's First Pumpkin

Fannie Bradley's first pumpkin has been carved, by her ever talented Daddy.

Bet you can't guess what it's going to be....

While the pumpkin was being carved, this is what the other pumpkin in our life was up to

Someone still looks sleepy and has a major case of bed head.

This was even after a major brushing. Her hair is out of control. And it's so long in the front that it goes way down past her eyes. I just can't bear the thought of having to cut it quite yet.

You woke me up for this?!?!

Thanks Daddy! I love my pumpkin & You!

Baby's Got a New Pair of Shoes!

Fannie wore shoes for the first time tonight!

We walked to Willy's for dinner and since it was chilly outside we decided to give them a try. They fit great and looked so cute.

Our little baby is growing up so fast.

Johnny Jump Up

We tried the Johnny Jump Up for the first time tonight.

BEFORE

AFTER

Uh, I think we need to raise it up a bit! Ha Ha. Poor thing.

Ah, that's more like it!

F is for Fannie and Friends

Saturday night we met Fannie's friend Emmie and her parents for dinner at Galla's Pizza, which is extremely tasty and very family friendly!

The girls were excited to see each other.

We are pretty sure that Fannie has surpassed cute petite nine month Emmie in both height and weight now. That's ok, Fannie can be the center and Emmie can be the point guard. You have to have both!

They are going to be quite the duo!

Pumpkin Patch

On Saturday afternoon, we headed to North Georgia to Burt's Pumpkin Farm to pick out Fannie Bradley's first pumpkin.

We had to make a little pit stop on the side of the road as someone just couldn't hold it any longer!

I just love this picture. Of course, I was trying to capture a lil' baby bootie and of course the Daddy snuck his hand in the pic to cover his baby girl's fanny!

When we were getting out of the car there was a family getting out of their car near us and this is what I overhear: "Crystal, don ferget yer Snuggie." And by golly, Crystal got her Snuggie and wore it around. Of course Crystal and her family end up in line behind us waiting our turn for the hay ride. And let me tell you, a Snuggie will never be the same after a hayride.

Waiting in line for the hayride...

Too bad we didn't have one of these....

Fannie is such an easy baby. She'll take her bottle wherever and however. She just goes with the flow. Obviously a trait she inherited from her mother.

Hayride time!

Fannie, what did you think of your first hayride?

Classic Hinson repsonse.

How many pumpkins can one man carry?

In this case, TWO!

Mommy holding one of the pumpkins!

Happy Fall from Our Family to Yours!

Rice Cereal

October 21, 2009 will be a day to remember, that's for sure.

Tonight, Fannie Bradley had her first attempt at eating with a spoon. Good ole' rice cereal mixed with formula, I wasn't about to waste any of the liquid gold on it in case it got all over her mouth instead of in it!

It went as well as could be expected. Her facial expressions were priceless. And the pictures where it looks like she is crying, she isn't, that's just the face she was making at us.

I'm sitting on the table, this is pretty cool!

I'm Boo-tiful and I know it.

Wonder if they will notice if I eat the bib...

Why is the paparazzi here, again? Something big must be about to happen.

This looks interesting.

It keeps getting closer and closer.

Mom, are you getting all of this on film?

Blah.

Please Daddy, no more.

Here we go again.

Closed for business.

I'll show them, I'll feed it to myself!

I have reached the physical point.

I am not kidding people. Physical point.

Now Mommy is giving it a try.

I'm stuffed.
