Happy Birthday Daddy!

After the Zoo, we all headed to Ribs, Etc. to celebrate Daddy's Birthday.

Fannie tried a lemon for the first time

and loved it!

She didn't even make a funny face, she was not phased at all!

She also had her first taste of a tater tot!

She was successful too, can't wait to see what she does with her smash cake at her birthday!

This was a Pineapple Layer Cake from Piece of Cake, it was the cake of the month and so good.

I think it is safe to say that this May 9, Birthday and Mother's Day was better than last year.

Last May 9, I woke up so happy to publish this post about John's birthday. A few hours later my Grandfather died, on my husband's birthday. And the next day was a sad Mother's Day.

So, this year we had a lot to make up for and boy, did we ever. It was a wonderful day celebrating Mommies, new and old, Daddy's birthday and Pap Pap's life.
