FB meets Vince Dooley

Thursday Night, my Mother, Aunt, FB and I headed to Downtown Marietta to an Art Musuem for the book signing of Vince Dooley's new gardening book, with artwork by Steve Penley (two family favorites!).

In line waiting to have our book signed

All decked out in Red & Black

So glad the Daddy wasn't there, he would have been drooling over this masterpiece

Ronald Reagan and his Jeep, LOVE IT

Barbara Dooley was IN LOVE with our child. She got out of her seat to come see FB and play with her. Barbara was all up in our personal space. It was so great, she is such a live wire and so personable. Here she is trying to get FB to do touchdown but FB evidently wasn't performing her tricks.

It's a gorgeous book, inside and out

Meeting Coach! He was so nice. I've met him before (not that he would remember but he actually might because it is a really funny story involving the four Orrs and Coach Dooley alone in an elevator in Butts-Mehre circa 1990-if my Mother can locate the pics, I will post about that too) but this was Fannie Bradley's first time.

Signing Fannie Bradley's book

Coach Dooley wrote:

Love to Fannie Bradley

A Future Bulldog

A Future Gardener

God Bless

Next, Penley signed our book

Very Cool

Sort of makes me want to have a pretty garden. (Not going to happen any time soon!)

What a great experience! Good idea, Grandmommie!
