Fannie Bradley's First Easter

Fannie Bradley's First Easter was quite unconventional because her Mommy, Daddy and Grandmommie were in Hilton Head for a wedding. At the last possible second, we painfully decided to leave FB at home. We just couldn't justify her being in her hot carseat for 12 hours to be in Hilton Head for a mere 30 hours. We hated not waking up with her on her first Easter but we left her in good hands and we high tailed it back to Atlanta on Sunday and had a wonderful day.

Fannie had a lot of firsts on Easter Sunday. She went to her first Catholic Service. Granddaddy and Angie/Mamie took her to 10:30 Mass at Christ the King. She was blessed and prayed over by various priests. They sat in one of the over flow areas, the gym, which probably worked out with little Miss Chatty Cathy in tow.

Then they went to Aunt Katherine and Uncle Will's house for lunch which is where Mommy and Daddy found their baby eating fried chicken. She was so happy to see us but quickly wanted back to her food. After visiting for several hours, we headed back home to get ready for church again. We really wanted to be with Fannie at our church on Easter so we headed to the 7:00 pm Contemporary Service, thus the reason Daddy didn't have to wear a suit and tie.

Fannie enjoyed dancing to the rock band music.

After church, we went around the corner and Fannie got to eat at Mary Mac's for the first time.

Happy as a Lark, just playing with a plate!

We gave her a crayon for the first time

and of course it went straight to her mouth!

Fannie enjoyed a child's veggie plate consisting of: Mac & Cheese, Sweet Potato Souffle, Green Beans and Squash Souffle

When we got home, we found that the Easter Bunny had been to visit!

Fannie checking out her loot

Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny must be friends because a lot of this stuff was leftover from Santa!

Fannie got a Puppy book and Spanish Learning Video

And a new smocked outfit with yellow dogs on it. We love yellow labs around here!

And new bathing suit with a cover-up to match

Cute Plate with her name

And one with her monogram!

And probably her favorite item of all, egg shakers from Music Class!

(looks like she may have some leftovers on her cheek!)

Then she found another basket full of instruments

She loves music class so much the Easter Bunny thought

she needed her own instruments at home to play with!

It may not have been traditional but it was perfect.
